本人Tam Hoi Lam在妍樂軒跟Phil Ng導師學習色士風已5年或以上了,以下是本人的感想:The atmosphere between me and my tutor is pretty good as he will play the song I am learning with me by instrument together during the class and I can more easily to catch up the skills or the emotions that I have to express while performing. And the conversation between my tutor and me or my parents is also good since he will tell me what my target and what should I do to improve so as what he will tell my parents. Therefore, we will clearly know that what is our goals and when can we achieve them.

I, Charlotte Choi, have been studying flute with instructor Agatha Yeung at Scherzando Music Studio for less than a year now. Here are my thoughts:

I first saw the flute trial class on Facebook. My daughter had never played the flute before, but she fell in love with it immediately. Teacher Agatha was very kind and dedicated, and when she learned that my daughter wasn't breathing well enough to play the flute, she gave us a lot of encouragement. She also helped us as parents with how to practice together, giving us very useful advice that helped my daughter gradually build confidence and practice more.

After nearly a year of study, I've made significant progress and have never missed a flute lesson, thanks in no small part to Teacher Agatha. Even when I can't attend a lesson, the music school is very flexible in its arrangements, fully cooperating with teachers and parents and establishing good communication.

The comfortable and clean classroom provides students with a pleasant place to learn musical instruments.

I’ve been taking harp lessons with Ms. Yau for around 1 year since July 2024.

Ms. Yau is experienced, patient and supportive. She always gives constructive feedback and explains concepts clearly. Her lessons are well-structured, encouraging and tailored to my pace. I can see my gradual improvement in playing harp thanks to Ms. Yau.

I truly enjoy lessons with Ms. Yau and do highly recommend to anyone interested in learning harp..

My daughter has been learning harp at Scherzando Music Studio for less than a year, but based on my observations, Miss Ada Yau is gentle, polite, patient, and has rich teaching experience. She values home-school cooperation, guides parents to practice at home in the right way, and encourages students to gradually improve their abilities and progress on their musical journey.

The music room is comfortable and luxurious, bright and clean. Children have toys and books to keep them occupied while they wait, which helps to calm them down. Highly recommended!

I, Liu Zhuolan, have been learning the harp with teacher Ada Yau at Scherzando Music Studio for 2-4 years. Here are my thoughts: Miss Yau is very patient in teaching children and often encourages them. After each lesson, she explains the progress to parents and sends music recordings for practice. My child really enjoys Miss Yau's lessons!

I, Febe Huang, have been learning the harp with teacher Emily Ho at Scherzando Music Studio for 1-2 years. Here are my thoughts: I really enjoy learning the harp. I find every lesson very enjoyable. Miss Emily is very dedicated to teaching me, and I've learned a lot about the harp. After a year of learning, I can now play different pieces for my mother on the harp, which makes me very excited and proud.

At first we learned in another place, the other side refused to let me in to see the class, so it is difficult for me to help my daughter practice the piano, and my daughter said the teacher is very mean, often said her hand type wrong, but talk to my daughter does not understand what to do, after 2 months of learning we switched to Scherzando Music Studio to learn.

Before I even asked, Teacher Ada had already invited me to observe the first few lessons. I wondered if I could also practice with my daughter and correct her posture! Teacher Ada is good at using metaphors to explain difficult playing postures. After 2-3 lessons, my daughter's posture has been corrected, and she likes Teacher Ada more, and is more proactive in practicing than before! I am truly grateful for Teacher Qiu's guidance!

I am a piano teacher. I once participated in a group piano tuning class at the union. Perhaps because of the class size, even after two sessions, I am still not very familiar with tuning.

I recently started a one-on-one piano tuning lesson with Mr. Chiu. I was surprised to learn he was so young, as I always assumed that piano tuners who taught others were much older. Although Mr. Chiu is young, he seems very experienced, and I saw on his Facebook page that he has many years of work experience. Learning piano tuning from Mr. Chiu has been very rewarding; I've learned a lot of practical knowledge, and his teaching style is very engaging. I really enjoyed learning!

I hope to gradually learn from him how to become a piano tuner.

I used to learn saxophone at other music stores, and I also studied and passed the Level 5 music theory exam in a group class at the union. However, I didn't know a lot of music knowledge before. The music theory group's intensive course was easy to learn but difficult to master. The saxophone instructor probably didn't teach older students like me much. I feel that after passing Level 3, it will be difficult for me to engage with that instructor's teaching again.

Later, I switched to Stephen's class here, and I think it's been great. His meticulous teaching has helped me understand a lot and resolved many of my doubts about music and saxophone. I think I made the right choice in choosing a teacher. Stephen's individualized teaching style has truly enabled someone like me, an older person, to learn very smoothly. Now I'm preparing to take more advanced saxophone exams, and I'll put in the effort!

Our daughter turned four, and we were planning to have her learn a musical instrument. When we asked her, she said she wanted to learn the harp. We found Scherzando Music Studio online, which offers harp lessons for children aged four and up, and they even offer trial lessons, so we decided to give it a try. The teacher was very kind; for the first few lessons, parents were allowed to come into the practice room with the teacher so we could learn more and feel more at ease.

However, we were a little worried because our daughter's learning progress wasn't very fast in the first two months or so. At first, we wondered if it was because our daughter was only 4 years old and too small... Fortunately, Miss Yau was very experienced and explained to us the learning situation and common problems of young children. She also gave us a lot of methods and tips for practicing with our daughter at home after each class. We were really happy to see our daughter making progress!

We've been learning for about half a year now, and we can play some simple songs. We're also looking forward to the year-end teacher-student concert! Many thanks to our harp teacher, Miss Yau, for her patient guidance.

Last summer, I enrolled my daughter in piano lessons. After about six months, I could tell she had no interest in the piano. One time, when we went to a friend's house, my daughter was introduced to the harp for the first time and said it was beautiful and sounded nice, so I suggested she try it.

After being introduced by a friend, I came down to Scherzando Music Studio to take a harp class. The group hopes my daughter will not be so bored. There were other children in the class, in addition to teaching to play the harp there were also games to learn musical knowledge, and my daughter had quite a lot of fun. After eight classes, they were given one-on-one individual classes. The instructors taught vividly and aroused motivation and interest in learning. I'm not forcing her to take exams or win prizes in competitions. I just hope that she can become interested in music and cultivate her temperament.

In today's wedding banquet trend, newlyweds often have musical instruments and various other performances during the banquet. I chose saxophone because I think it represents romance and masculinity! So, a year before my wedding, I went to Scherzando Music Studio to learn saxophone!

When I first started learning, I found it very difficult, but with the patient guidance of my instructor Stephen, I gradually mastered the techniques and developed a genuine interest in music, quickly achieving my goals! Finally, my performance at my wedding banquet was a great success!

Crystal Leung has been studying harp with Miss Yau at Scherzando Music Studio for over 5 years, and here are her thoughts: The instrument course content is quite comprehensive, and the class schedule is flexible. Every lesson with Miss Yau is very beneficial, and my harp skills have improved significantly.

My respect and great teacher – STEPHEN CHIU

Playing the piano such when I was child and youth’s dream; but incredible after several decades then, I met the great teacher, his name called Stephen Chiu (Chiu sir).

Now I realized the dream of my life time!

When I met Chiu sir just coincidence , due to in the middle of year 2005, I just tried to study the KING OF all instruments – piano, but I did not have the brave to touch them, because playing the piano is such a unreachable thing. So my first step only joined small group at some community such like the Spare Time Study class, they without detail programming, and very quick you can up to the higher level , actually I had not got the real music knowledge from there. Luckily when I walked into the ‘XXX Music Centre’, 2009, teacher Chiu sir was my real teacher until now.

Chiu sir, who is a great teacher, of course he not only has a huge of experience and good quality to teach us, and also he has very good temper; patience; smart ideas, and he can understand each student the character to set the study method , actually even when I at grade 2 ,3 ,I still had the foolish brain, till to middle of grade 4, I asked Chiu sir let me start to learn the theory , then I really discover Chiu sir is very smart and has best way to teach the quite slowly student such as me, he has some guidelines, when the students remember them, you will be very easily to pick it up the theory, then you can easier to play the scales; at this moment I really woke up and understand what’s going on! I can say that, I am so lucky, because before 2009 I wasted my 4 yeas treasure times, too bad!

Chiu sir – his best way is step by step, never get hurry, and have some wise tips let you remember that, until you really understand then. I am appreciated his hard working by his heart!!! So when I attended the grade 4 exam, actually I really want got the good mark to THANK YOU his hard working to teaching me, but unfortunate, because when I sitting the real exam’s room, the nerves let me out of control and lost my mind for some points, so sorry, anyway Thank you very much Chiu sir, I will be keep up the practice follow your very good guidance and going to the next and next higher level!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!

Surprises have become a standard feature of Hong Kong weddings. I've also chosen a musical instrument to play – the saxophone. Let Mr. Zhao help me with this most important performance of my life!

Was Mr. Stephen a good teacher? (Before my first lesson, I had my doubts.) In a year, I got to know music, learned the saxophone, and played with Mr. Stephen. At the wedding, I had let go of the idea of performing the "required actions"; my mind was filled only with my feelings for my wife. The saxophone that had been with me for a year and I clicked instantly; that moment, I believe, is something only I can fully understand. A year later, if you ask me again…

Is Inspector Stephen a good teacher? My answer would be: Absolutely the best!

Marriage is an inevitable stage in life, and like many others, I enjoy a lively celebration. Therefore, my partner and I decided to hold a banquet to share our joy with family and friends and witness the beginning of this new chapter in our lives. But how could I leave a lasting impression on everyone, and more importantly, create an unforgettable memory for my partner? I decided to challenge myself with my weakest skill… playing a musical instrument! So, a year before the wedding, I asked my friends for advice: which instrument to play? Which music studio was good? Finally, a friend recommended 'Scherzando Music Studio' to me.

When I first met Stephen Sir, I was a little skeptical of his abilities because he was so young. But as the saying goes, "You can tell a lot from a single performance." Although I had only enrolled in a crash course, Stephen Sir's meticulous guidance transformed this "musical idiot" into a skilled performer. He even modified the songs I wanted to play to a level more suitable for my playing style. With his constant encouragement and my own hard work, I finally succeeded in my performance on the big day! My wife was both moved and surprised by my performance, and the guests were full of praise!

They even asked me if I knew how to play this instrument from a young age, and if I had been learning for a long time. I always said it was all thanks to "Scherzando Music Studio"!
